Now just about half price! (Originally purchased for $1475!) This circa 1890-1900 large Victorian solid wood china cabinet in its original dark finish has decorative leaded glass doors and sides, carved paw front feet and lovely carved floral decoration. Each of the two side sections has two fixed shelves; the lower section has one. (A previous owner attached brackets to hold the shelves in place). The sections and shelves are lined with (original?) green velvet.
One of its best features: it comes apart into 2 pieces, which makes transport MUCH EASIER!
The center mirror has been replaced, but the two beveled side mirrors are original. One pane of glass has a small fracture (see cabinet detail #1 picture) and a piece of the carving has been (nicely) repaired; otherwise in very good antique condition, as pictured. Includes the key to the drawer & 1987 receipt for $1,475. 48" wide x 13" deep x 81" tall. No delivery; pick up in Edenton.
